What's here

Every dashboard shows full history, not just a snapshot — the Banking Dashboard covers institutions, total assets, deposits, equity, and profitability back to 1934 (annual); the Federal Government Dashboard covers total debt, its public/intragovernmental split, and the average interest rate paid on it; the Federal Reserve Dashboard combines three related overnight rates (EFFR, SOFR, OBFR) into one interactive, legend-toggleable chart. All of these have range controls to zoom into any period. The Bank Safety Reports tool is a full narrative write-up per bank, scored against factors validated against real historical bank failures (see the report page for the methodology), and lets you pick any historical Call Report quarter on file for that bank — not just the last 10 years. The Government Limit Calculator is seeded with live U.S. debt and interest-rate figures and recalculates as you edit assumptions. Money Supply & Inflation combines M2 (FRED) and CPI (BLS) into one comparison view.

Track record

As far back as November 2022, the site cautioned that the Fed's removal of the bank reserve requirement threatened banking-system stability. On March 27, 2023, it published "Bank Failures: Solved or Just on Hiatus?" expressing skepticism about regulators' "resilient and on a solid foundation" message following the Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank failures — about a month before First Republic Bank became the third failure in that sequence.
